Amiee Mayerchin, LVT
Aimee has been with HCAH for eight years and has over fifteen years of surgical nursing experience in the local Huntsville veterinary medicine field. She is a 2005 graduate of Snead State with her veterinary technician license. She has a background in grooming with her own two dogs that she used to transition into a full time grooming position here at Covepets. She has three beautiful daughters who she loves to spend her off time with, as well as her puppy, Dashi and three cats.
Cheyanne Guerin, Patient Care Specialist
Born in Illinois, Cheyanne moved to North Carolina and now settled in Alabama for the last 15 years. She went to college to start a career in human medicine, but decided that choice was not for her. Alternatively, she chose to start her career in veterinary medicine due to her love for animals. She married her high school sweetheart who with him, had 3 beautiful little boys. She has a basset hound and a small pack of (4) weenie dogs. She loves scary movies, specifically murder mysteries and has a strong love for all things Tim Burton. Her plan is to one day build her dream home with her family and have a small farm.
Jordan Hovis, Patient Care Specialist
Jordan is a native of Huntsville, born and raised. She attended Grissom High school and the University of North Alabama. She then married her high school sweetheart in 2016 who was in the Marine Corps. They quickly got stationed and moved to Camp Pendleton, California where he served for 4 years, and Jordan started her career in Veterinary Medicine. While in California she finished her degree in Liberal Arts and Science. Working her way up, she started as a receptionist and quicky moved forward to assisting in surgery. Jordan, her husband, and two dogs (a Shiba- Inu named Lana and Australian Cattle Dog named Laska) moved back to Huntsville in 2019 to be closer to their family. They then decided to add to their own family and now have a 3-year-old daughter named Nora and a two-year-old son named Wesley. Jordan has been in the field for 8 plus years with a passion for Emergency and Surgery. During her free time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Brittany Gomez, Patient Care Specialist
Brittany Gomez was born and raised in California and now lives in Boaz, AL. She did a couple years working as an EMT before she decided to transition into animal medicine. She’s always had a love for animals. She has two fur babies with her fiancé. Zeke, which is an American bully mix and Lupin, who is a black lab.
Meg McCutchen, Patient Care Specialist
Meg is originally from the small town of Section, Alabama. She became involved with pharmaceuticals that lead her to work in human medicine. When she first changed her career to veterinary medicine, she immediately knew her heart lied within animals. She rarely spends a minute alone without her fur baby, River, by her side. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, being on the water, and listening to or watching anything true crime. Her favorite part of working in veterinary medicine is being able to comfort animals when they are most afraid.
Amy Phan, Patient Care Specialist
Amy is originally from Mobile, Alabama and moved to Huntsville to study Biochemistry. Amy spends her free time caring for her various houseplants. She enjoys cooking and has a cat (Celeste) and two adorable bunnies (Qubit and Tycho).
